Outcome of Vengara bye elections is expected to show actual image of political changes in Kerala. Presently there is lot of discussion going on regarding whether Congress will be able to retain their stronghold in vengara constituency at Malappuram. LDF government under Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in Kerala state is trying all possible ways to get a seat in Vengara constituency.
Vengara MLA PK Kunhalikutty of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) had left this seat to contest in Loksabha elections few months ago. He won from.Malappuram with huge victory and showed once again that IUML has strong support in this district.
Vengara bye election conducted in October 2017 will once more show whether IUML under Congress party is able to retain stronghold in this constituency or not. PK Kunhalikutty became a member of the Parliament over Malappuram district Indian sheet that was left vacant when previous MP E Ahmed passed.
