Staff Fixation Kerala Schools Teachers Aided Order 2016

The Kerala Teachers Package and staff fixation 2015-16 circular has been passed. Staff Fixation Kerala 2016 is one of the main demands by the Kerala School Teachers Association (KSTA), Kerala Pradesh School Teachers Union (KPSTU) .etc. The staff fixation of Kerala Aided schools has been put on a Stay by High Court few weeks back.

But now the main problem for the delay after overcoming this hurdle is because of Election Commission’s objection for giving permission to Circular, due to the upcoming 2016 Niyamasabha elections. The Kerala Schools Staff Fixation 2016 has to be passed to be able for Aided schools under Kerala Education department to do staff fixation in schools. Presently large number of school teachers are working in various schools without getting salary and authorization. To make a change to this situation the Staff fixation circualr has to be passed in Kerala.

Circular for Kerala Teachers package has been issued but the staff fixation has not been implemented, due to the differences in opinions regarding allowing additional divisions. If there are 31 students in a LP Class an additional Division can be allowed and if there are 36 students in an UP School a second division can be allowed. In the same of Nineth (9th) and Tenth (10th) classes only if there are more than 50 students or 51 students a Second division can be allowed. Presently the circular mentioning the Central Government Education Right law stating that LP Schools should have 1:30 ratio and UP Schools should have 1:35 ratio of teachers to students has to be passed.

It is pending at present because Kerala election commission has not given permission to pass it because of the existing Election rules, due to the upcoming elections in May 2016.

Due to the big delay In Appointment Order and Staff Fixation for Kerala Aided School Teachers, there are lot of protests going on at present.
