Gujarat vidhan sabha election 2017 date announced by Indian election commission will be on 9th and 14th December 2017. Election Commission announced Himachal Pradesh assembly election dates that will be held on 9th November 2017. Announcing of  Himachal Pradesh assembly elections will be be on 18th December 2017.

This is 14th Legislative Assembly Elections being held at Gujarat in 2017. Election commissioner informed that Gujarat election dates and complete schedule will be announced soon and it will be held before 18 December 2017. Announcing over result of Himachal Pradesh assembly elections will be on 18 December 2017 and this is why Gujarat assembly elections will probably made on this date. This is done to prevent any impact on election result of Gujarat due to the outcome of Himachal Pradesh polls.
